The node contributed to the organisation of the 2026 meeting of the Computational and Systems Biology (CSB) Group of the Italian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (SIB), held at the Accademia delle Scienze dell'Istituto di Bologna, with sessions on systems biology, molecular mechanisms and metabolic modelling.
27th Bologna Winter School — Bioinformatics and Rare Diseases
The node organised the latest edition of the Bologna Winter School, held online and focused on computational approaches to RNA biology and bioinformatics methods relevant to rare diseases, jointly with the International Master in Bioinformatics, ELIXIR-IIB, the Italian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and the Accademia delle Scienze dell'Istituto di Bologna. ELIXIR Rare Disease Community Face-to-Face Meeting, Bologna
The node co-organised the ELIXIR Rare Disease Community face-to-face/hybrid meeting held in Bologna in 2025, bringing together the Community's members to discuss roadmap actions, tools and data interoperability for rare disease research within ELIXIR.
